There is no place to hunt. You have to go to one of the human places and ask for food. None of the animals here are real.

Yeah. The human things have these caves or something, and some of them give out food. You have to give them some of the shiny leaves and stuff in exchange for it for some reason.

...But those shiny leaves are everywhere. What are they, stupid?

I guess so. If you want food, just go with it.

Actually, if you find a place, ask for beef. It's good.

I wouldn't try to hunt the lumens if you see them, either.

What's a lumen?

I'm not sure what they are, exactly, but there's nothing fun about them if you get on their bad side... There's something unusual about their attacks... [she trails off, remembering]

They're easily recognizable, though. Their fur is white and their eyes... glow.
